Job summary

National Metalwares, LP is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance team and coordinate equipment repair, PM programs, and facilities upkeep. The role ensures continuous, safe plant operations and compliance with environmental and utility regulations.

The position supervises the Maintenance Department and Tool Room staff, guiding hiring, training, work planning, performance reviews, and disciplinary actions as needed. In-person work location is expected.

Qualifications

• The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Experience supervising maintenance personnel and coordinating PM programs is required.
• Commitment to safety, regulatory compliance, and efficient facilities operations is essential.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, direct, and manage maintenance personnel and workers engaged in equipment installation, facilities equipment repair, and preventive maintenance activities.
• Conduct regular inspections of the plant, evaluating the efficient use of space and facilities.
• Establish, implement, and maintain a preventive maintenance (PM) program.
• Ensure proper disposal of hazardous waste and liaise with public utility, environmental, and energy agencies for regulatory compliance.
• Inspect construction and installation progress, coordinate program specifications, proposals, contracts, and documents.
• Assist in coordination of building space allocation, layout, and communication services.
