Job summary

CHEP is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Manager to oversee preventive maintenance across our semi- automated pallet operations in Pendergrass, GA. Lead a skilled team to improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and drive plant efficiency while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

You will manage budgets, spare parts, and capex projects, mentoring staff and coordinating with multiple shifts to optimize overall performance and reliability across the facility.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of budgeting, CAPEX and cost control.
• Hands-on electro-mechanical repair and maintenance 5+ years.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering desirable; HNC required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime and improve plant efficiency.
• Enforce health and safety regulations and Zero Harm policies.
• Lead process reliability and continuous improvement initiatives to hit reliability targets.
• Manage spare parts procurement, inventory and maintenance budgets.
• Oversee capital expenditure projects for equipment upgrades and plant improvements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to meet plant needs.
