Job summary

CHEP is seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Manager in Pendergrass, GA to champion preventive maintenance across our semi-automated pallet operations and lead a skilled team to improve reliability and operational excellence.

You will manage procurement and budget for parts, drive capital projects, optimize utilities, and mentor staff while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of people management experience in an engineering or industrial maintenance role.
• 5+ years hands-on electro-mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
• HNC Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust preventive maintenance program to reduce downtime and improve plant efficiency.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and Zero Harm policy adherence.
• Implement process reliability systems and lead continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and budget control of spare parts and consumables.
• Lead capital expenditure projects related to equipment upgrades and plant improvements.
• Monitor and optimize the use of utilities to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the maintenance team to meet operational needs.
