Job summary

CHEP seeks an Industrial Maintenance Manager in Pendergrass, GA to lead a 2-shift maintenance team and drive reliability across semi-automated pallet operations. You will develop preventive maintenance programs, guide safety audits, and manage capital projects to improve equipment performance.

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years of people management experience in engineering or industrial maintenance.
• 5+ years hands-on electro-mechanical repair and maintenance experience.
• HNC Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage a robust preventive maintenance program to minimize downtime and boost plant efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and Zero Harm policies.
• Lead process reliability systems and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage procurement, inventory, and budget for spare parts and consumables.
• Lead CAPEX projects for equipment upgrades and plant improvements.
• Monitor utilities use and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Oversee staff development, staffing, training, and performance management.
