Job summary

Milliken Gilliland Plant in Laurens, SC seeks a Production Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance and reliability for knitting and laid scrim production. You will guide safety programs, drive maintenance excellence, and partner with Operations, Engineering, Process Improvement, and Safety teams to achieve plant performance goals.

The role emphasizes developing maintenance strategies to improve safety, quality, equipment reliability, productivity, and cost performance, reporting to the Plant

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Maintenance Management, or a related technical discipline.
• Experience leading hourly maintenance associates or technicians.
• Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to communicate across all levels in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead maintenance activities across the site to ensure safe, reliable operations.
• Own and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs for production assets.
• Lead troubleshooting and coordinate resources during equipment failures.
• Develop reliability improvement strategies to increase uptime.
• Plan, schedule, and execute maintenance work with cross-functional teams.
