Job summary

Advantage Point Group in Cottage Grove, MN seeks a full-time Plant Engineering Maintenance Planner to plan and schedule daily maintenance tasks and provide technical direction to craftspeople. The role aims to maximize reliability and runtime of production equipment and facilities.

The candidate will estimate work time, coordinate with production, engineering, and contractors, and lead meetings while maintaining records. Proficiency in CMMS/SAP and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year associate’s degree preferred but not required.
• 4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial plant, campus setting, or equivalent.
• Blueprint reading is required.
• CMMS experience is strongly preferred.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Strong computer skills (MS Office) are required.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Effective communication across all levels of the organization.
• Safety training such as OSHA 30 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Estimate work time and allocate labor and materials to complete tasks.
• Plan, coordinate, and schedule maintenance activities with production, engineering, contractors and craftspeople.
• Lead meetings and maintain documentation and records.
• Implement preventive and repair maintenance to minimize downtime and costs.
• Work with purchasing and vendors to specify, order, and expedite parts and materials.
• Support safety and quality programs.
• Lead or participate in special projects as assigned.
• Provide work direction to craft personnel as needed.
