Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Maintenance Technician I to maintain machinery and utility systems in a manufacturing environment. The role emphasizes completing both planned and unplanned maintenance while upholding OSHA and plant safety standards.

The technician will troubleshoot PLC and AC/DC drive systems, read schematics, and ensure high-quality, safe operations on the production lines. This is a full-time, on-site position with 12-hour shifts and an emphasis on teamwork and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing maintenance experience.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and troubleshoot PLC/AC-DC drives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain proper functioning of machinery and equipment through planned and unplanned maintenance on production, processing equipment, and utilities.
• Troubleshoot PLC and AC/DC drive systems.
• Be on-call for emergency repairs as needed.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and service manuals to perform maintenance tasks.
• Perform preventative maintenance including reading SPC data and PM check-ups.
• Keep work orders accurate and timely.
