Job summary

Nestlé Purina in New York is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance of all plant systems, including facilities, unloading, processing, packing, and warehouse operations. You’ll troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical equipment while always working in a safe manner.

The role focuses on maintaining machine reliability and facilitating process improvements across the plant, with hands-on work on electrical controls, pumps, boilers, and wastewater systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain plant systems: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation.
• Electrical work with 120, 220, and 480 volt.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls systems including motors and PLCs.
• Use test equipment such as multimeters, megohmmeters, and process simulators.
• Repair gear reducers and packaging equipment.
• Maintain wastewater system, boiler operations, pumps, and general building needs.
• Complete predictive maintenance such as vibration analysis and oil sample collection.
