Job summary

United Ethanol LLC in Milton, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician to repair plant mechanical equipment and support production goals. The role runs 6:00am–2:30pm, Monday through Friday, with on-call duties and a stipend.

The technician will use CMMS to track work orders, manage spare parts, monitor equipment, and participate in safety programs. Heavy equipment experience and the ability to adapt to change are essential.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree from a technical/vocational school or 3 years’ work experience.
• Must have the ability to work effectively with computerized maintenance management system and instruct others on its operation.
• To perform this job successfully, an individual must have expertise and proficiency with basic office software.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the plant maintenance program.
• Monitors spare parts inventories and initiates reordering when necessary.
• Keeps maintenance shop and plant neat and organized.
• Assists with CMMS for tracking work orders, spare parts, and maintenance history.
• Prepares reports, analyzes data, and makes recommendations to improve plant operations.
• Has knowledge of pump, valves, centrifuges, conveyors, rolling stock, and grain handling equipment.
• Monitors and repairs pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Participates in plant safety programs and preventive/predictive maintenance.
• Coordinates maintenance with other departments and communicates with QA.
