Job summary

Aero Metals, Inc is seeking a Maintenance technician to join our team and keep plant machinery and structure in top repair. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment to ensure production runs at peak efficiency.

The role involves electrical, welding, cutting, fabrication, and drilling tasks; you may train others and be trained by peers. Expect weekend or overtime work on short notice as needed.

Qualifications

• Electrical troubleshooting of 3 phase 480VAC, control circuits of 110VAC and 24DC, AB PLCs.
• Welding with MIG and related cutting methods.
• Torch, band saw, grinder, and plasma cutting.
• Fabricating guards, covers, catch pans and simple components.
• Power drills and drill press used in machining tasks.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair machines and plant equipment.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure maximum efficiency.
• Maintain plant systems as a dedicated maintenance position.
• Communicate with team members and management about repairs.
• Train production employees and fellow mechanics; willing to learn from others.
• Work weekends/overtime on short notice when needed.
