Job summary

ROCKWOOL is seeking an onsite Maintenance Manager for our new Wallula, WA facility. You will provide strategic leadership over plant maintenance, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operation of production equipment, facilities, and utilities.

Responsibilities include preventive/predictive maintenance, root cause analysis, budgeting, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will lead a team to maximize uptime, collaborate with Engineering and Operations, and promote a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of maintenance management experience in manufacturing.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills with strong employee relations.
• Experience with high‑volume, highly automated production equipment.
• Strong understanding and application of Lean Manufacturing principles.
• Experience with TPM and equipment reliability programs.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite; good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Maintenance team to maximize equipment reliability and plant uptime.
• Develop, implement, and improve preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Oversee daily maintenance activities and ensure safe, efficient work to quality standards.
• Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for equipment and process issues.
• Maintain maintenance documentation aligned with safety and reliability requirements.
• Lead testing, optimization, commissioning, and validation of equipment.
• Manage spare parts, tools, and resources to support uptime and cost control.
• Oversee the maintenance budget and drive cost-reduction initiatives.
• Monitor performance metrics and report trends to identify improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, and other teams on safe, reliable processes.
