ROCKWOOL is seeking an HR Manager for our new Wallula, WA manufacturing facility, onsite and full-time. You will be part of the North American Human Resources Team, supporting both salaried and hourly employees.

The role focuses on labor relations, policy implementation, wage administration, and recruitment to build a compliant, high-performing site. You will lead investigations, develop policies, manage benefits with the Total Rewards Team, and drive employee development programs while ensuring

Qualifications

• Experience creating HR policies for a newly created site
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and compliance requirements
• Ability to lead investigations and maintain documentation
• Experience with salary/benefit administration at a manufacturing site
• Proven ability to manage multiple HR projects with deadlines

Responsibilities

• Lead labor relations and ensure compliance with employment standards
• Investigate issues and document findings thoroughly
• Develop and monitor site HR policies, procedures, and training
• Coordinate wage and salary data reporting and market reviews
• Support job descriptions, evaluations, and salary planning with management
• Partner with Total Rewards on benefits and disability programs
• Drive recruitment, onboarding, and orientation for factory roles
• Support internal development, apprenticeships, and promotions
• Ensure legislative compliance and effective internal communications
