Job summary

Electrical Automation Services in Oakdale, CA is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Manager to lead plant maintenance operations in a fast-paced manufacturing facility. You will supervise technicians, prioritize downtime, coordinate PM programs, and support production by reducing unplanned outages.

The ideal candidate has strong leadership, troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and controls systems, with experience in regulated environments and ammonia

Qualifications

• Minimum maintenance leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Knowledge of PSM (Process Safety Management) programs and OSHA safety standards.
• Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls systems.
• Experience leading maintenance teams and coordinating with operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and work orders.
• Coordinate labor scheduling and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvements.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
