Qualifications

• Leadership experience in manufacturing/industrial environments with maintenance focus.
• Experience around ammonia refrigeration systems.
• Working knowledge of PSM programs and compliance.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in industrial equipment.
• Experience leading maintenance teams in fast-paced production.
• Knowledge of maintenance planning and spare parts management.
• Experience with conveyors, packaging equipment, motors, drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and automated systems.
• Excellent communication with plant leadership and maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise maintenance technicians across daily plant operations.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs, work orders, and equipment reliability initiatives.
• Coordinate labor scheduling, technician assignments, and weekly payroll approvals.
• Support production by minimizing downtime and responding to equipment failures with urgency.
• Troubleshoot and support mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and controls‑related equipment issues.
• Improve PM effectiveness, spare parts organization, and maintenance documentation.
• Work closely with operations and quality teams to improve overall plant performance.
• Drive root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Manage outside vendors, contractors, and OEM relationships.
• Participate in capital projects, equipment upgrades, and facility improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Support and maintain PSM‑related programs and procedures.
• Oversee ammonia refrigeration maintenance activities and contractor coordination.
• Develop and mentor maintenance personnel while building accountability within the department.
