Job summary

Lakeside Foods in Weston, Oregon is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee maintenance operations, equipment reliability, and capital projects at our Weston facility. You will lead maintenance teams, manage preventative programs, and drive continuous improvement to support safe, efficient food manufacturing.

The role requires leadership experience, strong technical knowledge of mechanical/electrical systems, and a focus on safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or industrial production.
• Three to five years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and engine room operations.
• Knowledge of GMPs, HACCP/Preventive Controls, sanitation and food safety standards.
• OSHA LOTO/Arc Flash safety and related regulations.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team members with clear performance expectations.
• Schedule, prioritize, and assign maintenance work for staff and contractors.
• Ensure team training and competency for safe operations.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance-related emergencies.
• Coordinate daily maintenance activities; support long-term reliability goals.
• Develop and improve preventative maintenance programs and procedures.
• Oversee repairs, installations, and facility improvements for reliability and efficiency.
• Read blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams; interpret technical drawings.
