Job summary

Lakeside Foods is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead the Weston, Oregon facility's maintenance operations. You will oversee equipment reliability, preventive maintenance, and capital improvements, while managing a team of technicians and contractors.

The role focuses on safety, uptime, and continuous improvement in a food manufacturing setting. You will drive maintenance programs, supervise daily activities, and ensure compliance with GMPs, HACCP, and OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of maintenance experience in food manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Three to five years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of industrial ammonia refrigeration systems and related safety practices.
• Experience developing and managing preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Experience managing maintenance budgets, contractors, vendors, and capital projects.
• Familiarity with GMPs, HACCP/Preventive Controls, sanitation, and food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop maintenance team members with clear performance expectations.
• Schedule, prioritize, and assign maintenance work for staff and contractors.
• Ensure team training and competency for safe and effective duties.
• Serve as primary contact for maintenance-related emergencies.
• Coordinate daily maintenance with long-term reliability goals.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs and procedures.
• Oversee repairs, installations, and facility improvements to maximize reliability.
• Read blueprints and electrical diagrams to support maintenance work.
• Identify and manage capital improvement projects including budgeting and scheduling.
• Support procurement, installation, startup, and commissioning of new equipment.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and spare parts inventories.
• Maintain facility permits and coordinate inspections with regulators.
