Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance or related coursework preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial or warehouse equipment maintenance.
• Must demonstrate full operational understanding of all machinery involved in the warehouse process.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics, repairs, and preventative maintenance on plant equipment and general machinery, including HVAC, hydraulic, packaging, and warehouse systems; welding, fabrication, and troubleshooting.
• Take ownership of plant mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime.
• Lead and coordinate major repairs, overhauls, and rebuilds of critical equipment and infrastructure.
• Identify root causes of equipment failures and implement sustainable solutions to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with plant operation teams to streamline equipment layout and improve mechanical performance.
• Support planning and execution of capital projects, equipment upgrades, and tech integrations.
• Supervise and train mechanics, including seasonal staff.
• Train employees on safe and efficient operation of machinery.
• Lead by example in maintaining a clean, hazard-free work environment.
• Promote safety, communication, and continuous improvement.
