Job summary

Lamb Weston in Park Rapids, MN is seeking a Team Leader Maintenance to oversee the maintenance department, plan and schedule work, and drive reliability of plant equipment. You will lead technicians, implement PM/PdM programs, enforce safety standards, and manage labor and parts costs while aligning with USDA and union constraints.

Qualified candidates have a mechanical engineering or technical degree, 3–5 years of maintenance supervisory experience, and strong problem-solving and communication

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering or related technical field preferred
• 3–5 years of maintenance experience preferred
• Previous supervisory experience required
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, blueprints, schematics, and maintenance instructions
• Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively
• CAD/Drafting experience desirable and helpful

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule work force efficiently for utilization of employees.
• Monitor downtime occurrences to maintain consistent operations.
• Maintain the preventative maintenance system and work toward meeting safety and uptime goals.
• Control labor costs and monitor overtime and parts expenses.
• Establish and maintain mechanical integrity and equipment reliability programs.
• Lead PM/PdM activities and provide technical guidance to maintenance staff.
• Ensure safety, food safety, and USDA compliance in all activities.
