Job summary

AUTOKINITON is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Manager for Belleville, MI (Plant 2). You’ll direct maintenance staff and onsite contractors, prioritize repairs, and drive uptime across building and machinery while ensuring safety and MIOSHA compliance.

The role covers developing and supervising preventive, predictive, and reactive programs, coordinating with engineering and production, and leading continuous improvement to boost efficiency and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 5+ years related experience
• Ability to supervise, coach and develop staff
• Analytical and statistical background
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to travel as needed
• Reading and understanding IATF16949, ISO9001:2015 and ISO-14001 procedures

Responsibilities

• Directs maintenance techs and contractors to meet production goals and uptime.
• Implements preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance programs.
• Oversees training and development of maintenance staff.
• Coordinates activities across departments and manpower.
• Ensures MIOSHA safety compliance and procedures.
• Willingness to work various shifts, weekends, and overtime.
