Job summary

Revolution in Flint, MI is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead a small, fast-paced plant team. This role is hands-on on the production floor, performing technician-level work while guiding maintenance, reliability, and safety.

You will drive preventive and predictive maintenance, manage a small team, oversee capital projects, and drive continuous improvement; you'll partner with operations to set priorities and deliver uptime.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in plant maintenance or engineering with reliability leadership.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical/electrical issues.
• Familiarity with extrusion tech or blown film is a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage operations to determine priorities and ensure maintenance meets them.
• Lead maintenance group in evaluating design inadequacies and implement changes.
• Drive continuous improvement across maintenance, plant, and processes.
• Provide strategic leadership for the Plant and Maintenance Department's vision and metrics.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and manage call-in schedule.
• Develop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
• Maintain spare parts inventory and equipment history files.
• Lead training and development of the maintenance group.
• Act as a technical resource to plant leadership.
• Promote plant safety and regulatory compliance.
