Job summary

Autokiniton in Michigan is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to lead the maintenance team, ensure safety, reliability, and timely repair of production equipment across shifts. First Shift 6a-2p and Third Shift 10p-6a are included in this full-time role.

The position requires a Bachelor’s in Applied Science (Manufacturing/Engineering/Industrial Technology), 6+ years as a maintenance supervisor, and knowledge of welding/assembly processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science in Manufacturing, Engineering or Industrial Technology preferred; Masters degree preferred.
• Minimum of six years as a maintenance supervisor and one year of management experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing, welding and/or assembly processes as required for the position.
• First Shift 6a-2p; Third Shift 10p-6a.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for performance feedback and leadership of all direct reports including mentoring, coaching, counseling and corrective action when situations dictate.
• Responsible for maintenance department safety, quality, production and delivery objectives in his/her area of responsibility.
• Responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment to support production jobs.
• Responsible for managing the preventive maintenance schedules.
