Job summary

Reworld Waste in the United States is seeking a highly experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead the Mechanical maintenance team on daily operations and outages. You will ensure safety, quality, and efficiency while guiding contractors and maintenance staff.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, planning, and problem solving across plant systems, with a strong focus on safety compliance and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Requires a broad background in plant maintenance with 5+ years of electrical or mechanical repair experience.
• Ability to lead daily and routine work directions for the team.
• Interpret blueprints and equipment manuals.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety tailgate/turnover meetings and plant safety program.
• Oversee maintenance and contractor work on-site with emphasis on safety and quality.
• Plan, schedule and coordinate outages and daily tasks.
• Review drawings and specs for feasibility and compliance.
• Monitor CMMS data for corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Ensure proper inventory, tools, and spare parts are available.
