True North Consultants, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Manager to oversee all plant equipment. The role focuses on developing, implementing, and improving process control systems across the facility.

The candidate will initiate preventive maintenance programs, manage spare part inventories, and coordinate with engineering and quality teams to implement solutions. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential for maintaining safety and efficiency on the plant floor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Recent experience in a Manufacturing plant, preferably automotive.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to supervise and motivate employees in a team environment.
• Expert working knowledge of all machine components and integration.
• Proven mechanical aptitude for analytical problem solving.
• Working with engineering and quality to address problem areas and implement solutions.

Responsibilities

• Initiate preventive maintenance programs to minimize maintenance cost of all production equipment.
• Executes assignments related to maintenance of machinery and equipment.
• Relocate machinery and/or equipment; dismantling and removing obsolete or worn out machinery and/or equipment.
• Plan the performance of preventative maintenance activities based upon knowledge and interval records.
• Develop and maintain key suppliers and spare part inventories.
• Schedule work to prevent idle time and maximize machine utilization.
• Schedule overtime fairly among maintenance staff.
• Determine priority of maintenance back-log and schedule work.
• Improve maintenance team effectiveness and skills.
• Schedule and conduct meetings on maintenance skills, safety, and company policy.
• Ensure safety training and OSHA compliance for maintenance personnel.
