Job summary

Consolidated Metco in Monroe, NC seeks an Engineering & Maintenance Superintendent to lead maintenance, manufacturing engineering, and reliability across the plant. The role requires hands-on leadership on the factory floor and timely technical and business decisions.

You will oversee preventive/predictive maintenance, capital projects, safety, quality, ISO/IATF, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong engineering background and people leadership are essential to drive uptime, cost

Qualifications

• Demonstrated leadership and personnel-management experience.
• Strong knowledge of industrial manufacturing, maintenance, reliability, and engineering practices.
• Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, automation, and facility systems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises Maintenance and Manufacturing Engineering personnel, including planning, training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Develops preventive and predictive maintenance programs based on risk and performance.
• Oversees troubleshooting, repairs, installations, and equipment reliability.
• Monitors KPIs and supports Lean/Six Sigma and continuous improvement efforts.
• Lead capital projects from concept through completion.
