Job summary

Heidelberg Materials North America is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to perform mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment. You will inspect and improve equipment performance, install and align mechanical systems, including conveyors and crushers, and collaborate with a team to complete tasks efficiently.

Work is in environments with moving equipment and varying weather; safety comes first.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated capability in mechanical maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals, and schematics.
• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and commitment to safe work practices.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Conditions of Employment

• Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check

Work Environment

• Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
