Job summary

Materion Corporation seeks a Plant Manager, Support Services at the Elmore, Ohio facility to lead EH&S, Quality, Maintenance, Facilities, Security, Shipping & Receiving and Plant Admin support. This role reports to the VP of Operations and operates in a matrixed organization focused on operational excellence.

Responsibilities include driving safety, ensuring on-time delivery, cost and productivity targets, and maintaining OSHA/environmental compliance while collaborating across Materion’s global

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required; Master’s Degree preferred.
• 12–15+ years managerial experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental regulations, and labor law.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Green Belt or equivalent knowledge of Quality/Productivity tools.
• Strong analytical/critical thinking and fact-based decision making.
• Proven project management experience with multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Drive best-in-class safety culture across the Elmore plant.
• Support Plant Manager to meet on-time delivery, productivity and cost targets.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, environmental regulations and labor laws.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to optimize processes and assets.
• Develop talent and leadership across the plant and coordinate strategic initiatives.
