Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• PE license or equivalent certification.
• PMP certification.
• 10+ years of experience in installation and maintenance.
• Proven experience managing capital projects with emphasis on power distribution.
• In-depth knowledge of medium/low voltage power distribution design, relays, switchgear, MCCs.
• Familiarity with industrial control systems, PLC programming, and HMI development.
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Understanding of electrical codes, safety standards, and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in preparing technical specifications and evaluating vendor proposals.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electrical and control system issues.
• Excellent communication and leadership to coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Familiarity with control system integration and architecture.
• Commitment to Environmental, Health & Safety best practices.
• Familiarity with arc flash studies and electrical safety program development.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, planning, and execution of power distribution for large capital projects.
• Act as Electrical Project Lead, developing scopes, estimates, schedules, and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
• Design and specify medium and low voltage power distribution equipment, switchgear, transformers, MCCs, and relays.
• Collaborate with controls engineers to integrate with PLCs, HMIs, DCSs, and SCADA systems.
• Prepare technical specifications and evaluate vendor proposals for reliability and safety.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of power distribution and control systems.
• Develop and maintain electrical design standards and arc flash studies for compliance.
• Coordinate with production, maintenance, EH&S and contractors to meet operational requirements.
