Job summary

Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a senior operations leader for the Hampton Structures Facility. The role requires directing all business aspects, leading cross-functional teams, and driving P&L success in a high-visibility environment.

You will partner with senior leadership to execute strategic plans, manage safety and environmental programs, and relentlessly pursue continuous improvement through Lean concepts and asset optimization. This position is strictly on-site in Hampton, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or Business from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 12 years manufacturing experience; at least 8 years in leadership.
• ITAR/US person status and eligibility to work in the US. Visa sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership to all business aspects of Howmet's Hampton Structures Facility.
• Ensures compliance with EHS rules for operation.
• Maintains employee engagement through regular all-employee meetings and communications.
• Partners with Segment Leadership to develop strategic plans and market opportunities.
• Oversees Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Control, and Maintenance to ensure quality, on-time delivery, productivity, and cost improvements.
• Prepares for and directs monthly business reviews with Senior Management.
