Job summary

NexForm, a leading automotive fiber solutions manufacturer, seeks a Plant Manager for the Warrensburg, MO facility. You will lead all manufacturing operations, drive continuous improvement, and manage safety, quality, and cost objectives. Strong Lean, Six Sigma, and financial acumen are essential.

The role reports to the COO and oversees Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain, EHS, and HR. Automotive background preferred and experience scaling operations is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years in plant/ops leadership.
• Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
• Lean, Six Sigma and Operational Excellence experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for all manufacturing operations within the facility.
• Establish and execute plant objectives aligned with company goals.
• Foster safety, quality, and operational excellence culture.
• Develop plant leadership and promote teamwork and succession planning.
• Lead plant communication and employee engagement activities.
• Direct daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and cost goals.
• Monitor performance using KPIs and ensure customer requirements are met.
• Optimize labor, equipment, and material resources for efficiency.
• Lead performance reviews and develop action plans.
• Manage the plant operating budget and costs.
• Drive cost reduction and productivity improvements.
• Support capital planning and ROI analyses.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and ISO/Regulatory standards.
• Lead Lean, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma initiatives.
