Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking a Plant Layout & Mechanical Engineer in Orlando, FL to support Combined Cycle power plant projects from proposal through commissioning.

You will develop layouts, 3D/2D models, equipment arrangements, and integrate mechanical systems while collaborating with customers, suppliers, and global teams. The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering and 3+ years in plant layout or related fields, plus proficiency with AutoCAD or AVEVA E3D.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience in plant layout engineering or related fields.
• Strong communication and teamwork across multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience with plant design CAD software (AutoCAD/AVEVA E3D/PDMS/MicroStation).
• Knowledge of power plant systems and equipment layout development.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and review plant layouts, 3D/2D models, equipment arrangements and plot plans.
• Coordinate mechanical engineering activities with multidisciplinary project teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve technical issues and optimize plant design solutions.
• Support specification, evaluation, and integration of mechanical equipment and plant systems.
• Review supplier documentation and assist procurement, manufacturing, and integration activities.
• Support construction, commissioning and startup activities.
