Job summary

Yanfeng US Automotive Interior Systems II LLC in Holland, MI, seeks an IT support professional to provide first-line PC/Server and desktop user assistance, manage incidents, perform system maintenance, and coordinate with IT leaders on change management.

You will support MES/MRP/ERP environments, LAN/WAN networks, printers and mobile devices, participate in safety and quality initiatives, and assist in IT projects across the site while ensuring reliable operation of plant IT systems.

Qualifications

3+ years IT or related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
2+ years’ experience in supporting LANs and WANs
Experience in MES/MRP/ERP systems
Experience maintaining mobile handhelds, printers
Experience in data collection and barcoding systems
PC/Server hardware and SQL reporting experience
First-line network equipment support; Cisco a plus
Customer support with hardware, software and network support

Responsibilities

Primary IT support resource for PC/Server, MS Office, and desktop clients.
Support off shifts and weekends via telephone, VPN, and onsite for critical issues.
Oversee daily computer systems operations including admin, security, backups, and upgrades.
Follow change management procedures before production changes.
Communicate IT activities to Senior IT Management and staff.
Support IT Manager and act as Project Manager for IT initiatives.
Ensure adherence to IT initiatives, policies, security and BOS processes.
Participate in IT incident reviews and assist in corrective actions.
Coordinate with Maintenance on overhead, lift-related work and plant infrastructure access.
