Job summary

Timken in the United States is seeking an experienced IT professional to provide advanced site technology support, lead small projects, and ensure stability and efficiency in a manufacturing environment.

You will collaborate with site operations, corporate IT, and vendors, perform Tier II incident resolution, manage Active Directory, SCCM, imaging, risk and documentation, and drive standardization and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field with 5+ years' experience, or
• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field with 2+ years' experience.
• Experience in manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environments preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Microsoft 365 technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier II support for complex incidents and service requests.
• Investigate OS, application, network, and hardware issues; perform root cause analysis.
• Document tickets, changes, and knowledge transfers thoroughly.
• Administer AD, SCCM, endpoint management, and print services.
• Lead small technology projects from planning to closure.
• Collaborate with site operations, corporate IT, vendors, and stakeholders.
• Drive standardization, reduce downtime, and improve first-time fix rates.
