Job summary

Yanfeng, a leading global automotive supplier, seeks an IT Support Specialist to maintain and optimize LAN/WAN infrastructure, MES/ERP systems, and related hardware in our manufacturing environment.

You will troubleshoot devices, support barcode data capture, and provide first-line IT assistance to users across multiple locations, ensuring smooth operations and strong cybersecurity practices.

Qualifications

• 3+ years IT or related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.
• 2+ years’ experience in supporting LANs and WANs equipment.
• Experience in MES, MRP or ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT support for LAN/WAN infrastructure across manufacturing environments.
• Support MES/MRP/ERP systems and related IT processes.
• Maintain and troubleshoot hardware including mobile devices, printers, and related peripherals.
• Collect data, manage barcode systems, and generate reports from databases.

Additional Responsibilities

Specific Requirments

• 2-Year College Degree

• Area of Study: Computer Science or similar.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years IT or related experience in an automotive manufacturing environment.

• 2+ years’ experience in supporting Local Area Networks (LAN’s) and Wide Area Networks (WAN’s) associated equipment.

• Experience in supporting Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

• Must have experience and working knowledge to support and maintain; mobile handheld computers, thermal printers, and multi-function network printers.

• Experience in data collection and barcoding systems.

• Outstanding PC/Server hardware and software experience including Microsoft Office 10 and 11, SQL queries, database reporting skills.

• Experience in being first line of support for network equipment. Cisco experience a plus.

• Customer support experience coupled with hardware, software, and network support.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in supporting TISAX audits.

• Experience in supporting IATF audits with focus on IT systems.
