Job summary

Ford Motor Company is seeking an IT Operations professional to support the Rawsonville Components Plant in Michigan. You will maintain plant IT systems, troubleshoot applications and infrastructure, and collaborate with global IT teams to improve manufacturing execution and transparency.

The role emphasizes support for Windows/Linux servers, Cisco network gear, and IIoT deployments in a high-pressure production environment, with a focus on flexibility and cross-functional teamwork across shifts.

Qualifications

Experience with server administration on Windows or Linux environments.
Familiarity with Cisco routers/switches for basic troubleshooting and cabling.
Knowledge of Windows Server and Active Directory/ADFS.
Experience with VM servers (OVS).
Experience with Android and/or iOS devices, iPhones or iPads.
Experience with Mac OS.
Experience with Office365 and SharePoint.
Experience with office automation tools.
Experience with Dell PCs, Dell laptops, HP printers and HP servers.

Responsibilities

Provide IT operations support for a manufacturing plant.
Troubleshoot IT applications, infrastructure, OSes, and end-user productivity tools.
Interface with Business IT to prioritize improvements and resolve incidents.
Support plant floor systems and other global IT teams as needed.
Maintain and document support processes and configurations.
Support local network equipment in a Cisco environment and local servers in Windows/Linux environments.
Assist with IIOT deployments and future AI tooling in manufacturing context.
