Job summary
Forvia is seeking an experienced Plant HSE Coordinator for our Louisville, KY plant. The role focuses on guaranteeing and enforcing the Group's HSES policy in line with national legislation and Faurecia's standards.
The candidate will analyze site risks, propose annual action plans, coach management and employees, participate in the HSE network, and monitor compliance and reporting of HSES indicators. A strong HSE background and automotive exposure are required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with HSE specialization or validated HSE knowledge.
- Willingness to stay current on local HSE laws and policies.
- Knowledge of automotive production plant technologies.
Responsibilities
- Analyze site risks and improve safety, health and environmental conditions.
- Propose an annual HSES action plan to site management.
- Coach and support site management and employees.
- Participate in Faurecia's HSE network.
- Monitor regulatory compliance and relations with local authorities.
- Monitor HSES indicators (e.g., environmental data).
- Organize and drive HSES audits and trainings.
- Carry out accident investigations.
- Ensure compliance to security policies.
- Submit and implement at least two Continuous Improvement ideas per month.
- Adhere to Faurecia’s Code of Ethics and Code of Management.
