Job summary

Jensen Infrastructure seeks an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead HR operations across two sites in Phoenix and Tucson, partnering with site leadership on recruiting, employee relations, workers’ compensation, HRIS, onboarding, and attendance.

You will travel regularly between locations to support blue-collar recruiting and workforce planning, collaborating with plant leaders to address HR needs and promote a positive work environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of HR experience, including HR Manager-level responsibilities.
• Experience on a plant floor and with operations employees.
• Conversational Spanish-speaking ability.
• Strong employee relations experience and ability to work with strong-minded personalities.
• Experience with blue-collar recruiting, onboarding, terminations, unemployment, and workers’ compensation.
• Willingness to travel regularly between Phoenix and Tucson.

Responsibilities

• Address employee relations issues and partner with site leadership on employee matters.
• Recruiting: Lead recruiting and onboarding for plant production, professional, and leadership positions.
• Engagement with plant leaders on workforce planning, compensation, and other HR related matters.
• Collaboration with other HR Manager on enterprise-wide HR initiatives.
• Managing attendance and employee changes in HRIS and scheduling systems.
• Supporting workers compensation, terminations, and unemployment matters.
• Travel between Phoenix and Tucson locations, including periods of up to one week of travel.
