Job summary

Grain & Protein Technologies seeks a Manager, Human Resources in Assumption, IL to lead the Human Capital Experience at the manufacturing site. You will partner with site and functional leaders, oversee recruiting, onboarding, engagement, and rewards, and ensure policy compliance and safe operations on the floor.

Responsibilities include end-to-end talent acquisition for factory staff, performance management, leaves handling, investigations, and leading a summer internship program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of HR experience in manufacturing or similar environment; at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and engagement.
• Experience with HRIS and payroll systems; Dayforce experience a plus.
• Knowledge of state/federal HR compliance; SHRM/PHR certifications a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end talent acquisition, staffing, and onboarding for factory workers.
• Guide leaders through employee relations matters with consistency and fairness.
• Drive performance management, engagement, and development.
• Implement leave processes and manage benefits questions.
• Conduct investigations in partnership with legal.
• Manage summer internship program from recruiting to events.
• Partner with EHS and operations to ensure a safe, compliant workplace.
• Deliver total rewards and benefits administration.
