Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred or equivalent years of experience.
• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
• SHRM-CP, PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
• Effective communicator with clear messaging both verbally and in writing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to adapt to fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrates confidentiality and professional behavior in all aspects.

Responsibilities

• Administers and executes HR programs including hourly compensation, benefits, and leaves.
• Handles employment inquiries from hourly employees, including sensitive matters.
• Recruits, interviews, and facilitates hiring for hourly and salaried roles.
• Maintains personnel files and attendance records; ensures compliance with laws.
• Manages internal communications; posts notices across the building.
• Oversees candidate-to-employee onboarding for first 90 days.
• Coordinates with temp labor agencies and approves weekly payroll.
• Contributes to culture, wellness, and employee engagement initiatives.
• Supports safe work environment and reports hazards and incidents.
