Great Dane is seeking a Human Resources Manager to partner with plant leadership and drive people strategies that boost capability, engagement, safety, and performance.

You will oversee talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, leadership development, compliance, and culture in a manufacturing environment. Strong business acumen and data-driven decision making are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing or industrial operations.
• Strong knowledge of employee relations, employment law, talent management, workforce planning, and organizational development.
• Ability to influence leaders and drive business results through people strategies.
• Strong analytical, communication, leadership, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
• High judgment, discretion and decision making to achieve objectives.
• Self-management and project management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP preferred.
• Travel: Minimal

Responsabilités

• Serve as trusted advisor to Plant Manager and leadership on workforce, talent, and employee matters.
• Align HR initiatives to plant objectives, labor, safety, productivity, and performance.
• Improve organizational effectiveness, workforce capability, accountability, and engagement.
• Provide workforce insights using turnover, staffing, attendance, safety, and data.
• Lead workforce planning to meet current and future business needs.
• Partner with Talent Acquisition and operations to attract, hire, onboard, retain talent.
• Support succession planning and development of frontline supervisors and managers.
• Identify capability gaps and develop leadership readiness plans.
• Coach leaders on employee relations, performance management, discipline, and policy interpretation.
• Conduct investigations and resolve employee concerns per policies and laws.
• Foster positive employee relations and trust.
• Support change initiatives to improve performance and engagement.
• Strengthen accountability and decision-making with leaders.
• Drive programs reinforcing Great Dane's culture and values.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
• Support plant safety initiatives and safety culture.
• Oversee workers' comp administration and return-to-work processes.
• Maintain accurate HR metrics and workforce reporting.
• Administer HR programs, systems, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with Corporate HR Centers of Excellence on enterprise initiatives.
• Other duties as required.
