Job summary

Dole Packaged Foods seeks a Plant Human Resources Manager for its McDonough, GA facility. This on-site role leads employee relations, workforce planning, recruiting, and HR operations to support a safe, compliant, and high-performing plant.

You will partner with plant leadership and HQ HR Centers of Excellence to deliver practical people solutions while ensuring a positive, inclusive work environment. Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., with possible weekend/shift coverage.

Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience supporting employee relations, performance management, recruiting, compliance, investigations, and HR operations.
• Manufacturing/food production or high-volume environment experience preferred.
• Prior experience leading or supervising HR staff.
• Strong knowledge of HR laws and best practices.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary HR business partner to plant leadership, guiding workforce and employee matters.
• Lead and coach HR staff to ensure efficient HR processes and service delivery.
• Partner with plant leadership to align HR programs with business objectives.
• Provide guidance on investigations, performance management, and policy interpretation.
• Lead full-cycle recruitment for hourly plant employees and support salaried roles.
• Oversee compliance training, audits, and HR-related investigations.
• Develop and monitor HR metrics to drive improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure accurate HR records.
• Foster an inclusive culture aligned with Dole Values and Purpose.
