Job summary

Georgia-Pacific in Madison, GA is seeking a Facility Building and Grounds Associate to maintain the plant's buildings and properties. This role includes outdoor upkeep, landscaping, and light building repairs, with a day shift Monday–Friday 6:00am–2:00pm.

You will operate and maintain landscaping equipment, perform weatherproofing, basic repairs, and ensure safety in a tobacco-free workplace environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in facilities and grounds maintenance.
• Ability to operate landscaping equipment.
• Experience in basic handyman tasks and safety awareness.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair plant buildings and grounds, including trash pickup and lawn care.
• Mow lawns, trim hedges, water plants, and install irrigation systems.
• Weatherproof outdoor areas and prepare spaces for various weather conditions.
• Operate and maintain garden, landscaping, and mobile equipment.
• Perform light HVAC, plumbing, painting, and lighting repairs as needed.
• Prepare work orders and document follow-up actions after maintenance.
• Adhere to safety and environmental guidelines and wear PPE.
