Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a Facilities/Preventative Maintenance Technician to keep buildings, equipment and grounds safe, clean, and fully functional through preventive maintenance, inspections and repairs. The role emphasizes HVAC, electrical and plumbing upkeep and the ability to work with contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance and repair.
• Ability to troubleshoot and repair building systems to ensure safety and functionality.
• Ability to work with external contractors for specialized repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on building systems (HVAC, plumbing, electrical).
• Fix minor electrical issues, plumbing, drywall, painting, lighting, and furniture repairs.
• Perform general cleaning, floor maintenance, and trash removal, especially during events.
• Ensure work complies with EH&S Performance Standards.
• Coordinate with external contractors for specialized repairs.
