Job summary

The Wilmington Group in Louisville, KY, is seeking a General Manager to lead daily plant operations and drive financial success across Safety, Staffing, Production, and Maintenance. The senior role oversees Operations, Logistics, and Sales teams and reports to the VP of Plant Operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required with progressive high-level training in recycling and/or manufacturing industries
• 7+ years’ experience leading plant operations OR recycling plant operations OR industrial manufacturing operations
• Leadership / Supervisory experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations across safety, staffing, production, and maintenance
• Lead safety initiatives and enforce compliance with OSHA regulations
• Manage P&L responsibilities and budgeting processes for the plant
• Coordinate with Operations, Logistics, and Sales teams to meet performance targets and customer requirements
