Job summary

Rosendin is seeking a General Manager to oversee a single modular manufacturing facility, driving production, quality, maintenance and planning to meet targets and ensure profitability. You will manage the facility's budgets, safety compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives, while leading a cross-functional team.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in manufacturing ops, a Bachelor's in Business or Construction Management, and strong communication skills. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years applicable manufacturing operations experience, preferably in the modular space.
• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Can be a combination of training, education and relevant work experience.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and nonverbal.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manufacturing operations, including production scheduling and forecasting, resource allocation, and workflow optimization.
• Monitor and manage production metrics like output, efficiency, and scrap rates.
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure product consistency and compliance with standards.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement process improvements and new technologies.
• Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, including cost control and expense management.
• Analyze financial data to identify areas for cost reduction and profit optimization.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage procurement activities.
• Be the spokesperson for the facility on monthly CAC meetings.
• Lead and motivate a cross-functional team of supervisors, managers, and production personnel.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and problem-solving.
• Provide training and development opportunities for staff.
• Ensure adherence to all safety regulations and procedures within the manufacturing facility.
• Investigate and address safety incidents promptly.
• Promote a strong safety culture among employees.
• Identify and implement strategic initiatives to improve operational efficiency and productivity.
