Job summary

Leader Ambulance, a Southern California-based ambulance manufacturer, seeks a General Manager to lead lean manufacturing and drive continuous improvement across the plant. You will own the order-to-cash process, guide multi-functional teams, and set strategy to maximize quality and profitability.

Ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Business/Engineering, strong leadership, and bilingual English/Spanish communication.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Engineering or similar.
Master's degree preferred.
Bi-Lingual in English and intermediate Spanish required.
Experienced leader with industry experience, preferably in the specialty vehicle space.
Strategic thinker with strong communication and negotiation skills.
Acts with high ethical standards and professional image.

Responsibilities

Leads lean manufacturing initiatives and acts as change agent.
Directs and mentors the local business unit teams across functions.
Sets strategic direction and annual improvement targets for the plant.
Drives achievement of financial targets including net sales and EBITDA.
Oversees order-to-cash process, sales support, and invoicing.
Ensures safety and environmental compliance and promotes best practices.
Develops capabilities and collaborates on new product development and improvements.
