Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Fuel and Ash Handler II to monitor and operate auxiliary equipment to keep plant operations safe and efficient. You will perform maintenance, minor repairs, and housekeeping tasks across ash handling, tipping floor, and related systems.

The role involves operating light mobile equipment, handling ash and metals, assisting boiler cleaning, and performing basic trades like plumbing and carpentry as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Mechanical abilities sufficient to perform equipment maintenance and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and operates light mobile equipment (forklift, skid steer, aerial platform) and supports facility operations.
• Handles ash, residue and metals; may load trucks for shipment.
• Assists boiler cleaning and scaffold cleaning as assigned.
• Performs basic maintenance and repairs on plant equipment and structures.
• Maintains clean and safe work area; complies with environmental, health and safety rules.
