Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Fuel and Ash Handler I to monitor and operate auxiliary equipment for safe, efficient plant operations. The role includes preventative maintenance on ash handling and related systems, plus loading metals as assigned.

Responsibilities include operating forklifts and loaders, performing inspections, and applying basic mechanical skills to routine repairs while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental policies. Overtime and rotating shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Mechanical abilities to perform routine maintenance, minor repairs and general preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operates mobile equipment including forklifts, manlifts, skid steer loaders, and other mobile equipment.
• Operates and completes inspections on frontend loader on the Tipping Floor and in Ash House areas.
• Qualified to operate refuse crane and front-end loader as required in support and employee relief capacity.
• Performs routine tasks such as opening vessels and equipment access doors, accessing furnace areas and using power tools.
• Maintains and follows environmental, health and safety requirements and company policies.
