Job summary

WIN Waste Innovations is seeking a Fuel and Ash Handler I to monitor and operate auxiliary equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on ash handling and tipping floor systems, and load metals as assigned.

The role requires operating mobile equipment, performing inspections, and following all safety and environmental regulations, with overtime and shift work as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Mechanical abilities to perform maintenance and minor repairs.

Responsibilities

• Operates mobile equipment including forklifts, manlifts, skid steer loaders and other mobile equipment.
• Operates and inspects frontend loader on tipping floor and ash house areas.
• Qualified to operate refuse crane and front-end loader as required in support and relief capacity.
• Performs routine tasks such as opening vessels, accessing doors, and minor repairs to plant equipment and structures.
• Maintains compliance with environmental, health and safety policies and procedures.
