Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of progressive culinary/kitchen management experience, depending upon formal degree or training.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience - highly desirable.
• Hands-on chef experience a must.
• Comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with focus on quality, production, sanitation, food cost controls, and presentation.
• Must be experienced with computers; to include Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Power Point), Outlook, E-mail and the Internet.
• Must be willing to participate in client satisfaction programs/activities.

Responsibilities

• Navigate moving targets and rapid real estate and headcount expansion; design scalable kitchen workflows that thrive in a highly dynamic, high-volume environment.
• Champion our culinary identity by designing innovative, plant-forward, vegan, and vegetarian menus that excite and engage our community.
• Drive zero-waste culinary initiatives, optimize composting workflows, and prioritize sustainable, local sourcing to minimize the kitchen's carbon footprint.
• Lead daily back-of-house operations as a visible, active presence in the kitchen, ensuring flawless food presentation and culinary execution.
• Balance creative culinary freedom with strict operational discipline, budget management, and exceptional guest service standards.
• Build, mentor, and inspire a high-performing culinary team, fostering growth, accountability, and operational excellence.
