PLANTA in Washington, DC is seeking an entrepreneurial Executive Chef to lead daily culinary operations. Reporting to the General Manager, you will guide the culinary team to ensure exceptional food quality and profitability while maintaining high standards.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as an Executive Chef in a comparable, fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Proven leadership and people-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day culinary operations for the DC location.
• Oversee product preparation, presentation, and service to ensure standards.
• Develop new menu items and seasonal specials in collaboration with culinary leadership.
• Take ownership of profit & loss to hit targets by managing inventory, purchasing and costs.
